We produce car care, marine, industrial and carpet cleaning chemicals at our plant in Tuzla, İstanbul. We sell them in Turkey under the Divortex, Ekinoks and Vortex brands and export them under the main Divortex brand.
Company history

2005
Setkim Kimya was established in 2005 with 100% domestic capital by two young investors. The company became the first in Turkey to manufacture brushless, touchless foam-cannon car wash products, and introduced that product group to the Turkish market.

2015
We soon carried the production knowledge built up in car care chemicals over into industrial general cleaning chemicals. In early 2015 the Divortex Marin range for yacht and boat care went into production, and in the same year we began development work on carpet cleaning and carpet care chemicals, which produced the Ekinoks brand.

2016
In early 2016 we reorganised the business. We renewed the logo, labels and packaging, modernised the production plant, and added e-commerce as a distribution channel.

Today we operate in three different cleaning and maintenance sectors under the Divortex Car Care, Divortex Marin, Divortex Industrial Cleaning, Ekinoks and Vortex Car Care brands. We are the market leader among corporate customers in the Turkish automotive sector and we export to Europe, the Middle East and Russia.

Part of what we produce leaves Turkey. The product documentation for each shipment is prepared separately, to the rules of the market it is going to.

- Russia Product documentation is prepared separately for shipments to the Russian market.

Your brand, our production
We manufacture car care, marine, industrial and carpet cleaning chemicals under your own brand. The formulation is developed in our own laboratory and produced at our plant in Tuzla.

Formulation is not bought in. Product development runs in our own laboratory, which is why an adjustment to the formulation can be made directly.

Label check
You do the artwork, we do the regulatory read. The label that arrives is checked against the product's hazard classification and the rules of the market it is going to, and anything missing is flagged before production.

We ship to Europe, the Middle East and Russia. Product documentation and shipping papers are prepared for the market the order is going to.

What does Setkim Kimya manufacture?

What is the difference between Divortex, Ekinoks and Vortex?
All three come out of the same laboratory and the same production line; what separates them is the sector they serve. Divortex Car Care covers vehicle care, Divortex Marin yachts and boats, Divortex Industrial Cleaning industrial cleaning, Ekinoks carpet care, and Vortex Car Care vehicle care. Exports are made under the main Divortex brand.
What is touchless (brushless) washing?
A washing method where no brush touches the vehicle: the chemical is applied with a foam cannon and lifts the dirt on its own. Setkim Kimya was the first producer to bring this product group to the Turkish market.
